This is a fly ass Adidas commercial! That's all I'm going to say!
I absolutely love the song "Bruises" by Chiarlift in this commercial and the New ipod nano's makes my nano look like a damn Dinosaur! Oh well it still rocks my Raphael Saadiq and Solange music so there...Love the song though (note to self download this song on the OLD nano - dammit!) Listen to the full song here.
P.S. ipod be making some stars huh? They always debuting some new artist or music for their commercials! Maybe DonLee should have did tried to get his music on an ipod commercial than doing the McNugget's Lovin'!
I kinda like this Rhapsody commercial (especially the first song they play - watch out now!)
This commercial has been the talk of the town this past summer. It is very addictive! If you ever want to get your kids to sit still in one place for at least 2 minutes put on this commercial. The kids absolutely go crazy for this commercial and the adults can't help but to hum or sing this song at random times. The jingle is mighty catchy! 8-77-393-4-4-4-8! If you didn't know anybodies phone number you knew that one.
Sprint's marketing department has come up with their own rendition of what Santa Claus would look like in 2008 to market the Palm Centro phone. He's slim, sexually questionable (or open), artsy, chic, suave, a bit stoned looking and wears fitting clothes without the white fur type whatever! Oh and he is one hell of a DJ - LMAO!
This may not be a commercial but more of what I would like to call MTV's side deal randomness... This past week I have clicked on MTV2 to see Ghostface Killah giving his take on random topics. The clip above is Ghost talking about his favorite foot wear and whatever else.
I absolutely love this commercial for Zune featuring Common and Afrika Bambata! It's a good look for Zune and an even better look for Common!
This commercial has a webcam, music site, Brady Bunch theme which is excellent and the concept to include Afrika Bambata in a debate with Common as to who song it is - was genius!
In a Recession, leave it up to Boost Mobile to bring the value back to the good ole' dollar bill. In this commercial "George Washington" is resurrected through a fat guy in a bad wig for Boost Mobile's latest attempt to gain customer's.
The concept was very clever and the song was a great choice (you can never deny singing along to an LL Cool J Classic).
Everybody is talking about the newest McDonald's commercial for their Chicken McNuggets and how ridiculously hilarious it is! But do you know who the guy is singing this corny song? With a little research I found out that he is a 22 year old "upcoming" recording artist by the name of DonLee. Learn more about DonLee...
DonLee (picture taken from DonLee's Myspace Page)
My hope is that the cornyness of this commercial does not affect DonLee's success in the industry. Both Destiny's Child and Justin Timberlake did Mcdonald's commercials but they already had mainstream success and a growing fan base! DonLee may have gotten exposure but was it the right kind?
This commercial was genius as it catches you off guard. When you first hear the song you want to know who is singing this corny song and why is it on prime time television? Then you realize it is a commercial for McDonald's McNuggets and it becomes hilarious!
